The staff (who all spoke at least some English) were friendly and helpful. The room was impressive and ours was bigger than I thought it would be after I read that some people thought the rooms were small. Although the hotel first seemed is a li - After reading horror stories of small rooms and inconsistent service in Venice, we intentionally looked for a room with updates and some space and Carnival delivered both. It is also a very short distance (5min) to the public transportation dock and maybe 15 min walk to the train station. Rooms very modern and clean. Hot water all week and lots of water pressure.   This hotel is incredibly convenient if you are looking for a good hotel that isn't on the island of Venice. There is a bus stop right outside of the hotel, they sell tickets for the bus at the hotel, and the bus takes your right to the main bus terminal in Venice. Two stops, and you're there. They all spoke very good English, and they were all very friendly. I've stayed in a lot - Staying at the Hilton outside of Venice saved money and stress, compared to parking a car and searching for a hotel in Venice. The location was very convenient to hop on the bus in front of the hotel and be in Venice in 10-15 minutes. Parking was free and safe. Staff was very helpful and attentive. It was also refreshing to be in a more "American" hotel after traveling in Italy.
