However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

  We really liked our stay in B&B Macalle. Everything was very clean, the towels smelled really nice and our room and bathroom were very spacious. Every morning Mario made us a great cappuchino. The city is at walking distance. And Mario gave us a great suggestion for a fish restaurant for dinner.   This was our first trip to Sicily. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the owners. Their daughter spoke English and helped to translate. Our apartment was clean and had a very charming, rustic, and authentic feel. The property and the grounds were beautiful and well maintained.   We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen.
