There were nice restaurants and deli nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English. A very nice breakfast was included in the price. Shuttle service was arranged both from and to the airport- 7.5 euro per person. The hotel exceeded my expectations.

The hotel is nicely located in the "centre" of Fiumicino village, which in turn is located 3km close to the airport, thus it is comfortable for short stays or early flights. I must admit I copied another's review... But I agree with
it....Great proximity to fco, walking distance to beach with very good
and inexpensive restaurants. Breakfast was just right for traveling and
staff was very helpful and cheerful. The rooms are bright, new, and
very clean.
ALso, the shuttle service to the airport was good.... came a bit early, we were the only customers in the van and there were not other stops enroute to the airport, so it was calming and not nerve racking.
