What makes Athy special first and foremost is the couple who run this family home. They made us feel very welcome and shared their personal story of their house and its amazing georgian history with us. The house in itself is beautiful and takes one back in time..our master bedroom was incredibly comfortable with lovely bathroom soaps and shampoos

We stayed at Dollardstown house while on a short break to attend a
family wedding close by We had an excellent stay from the moment we
arrived with the welcoming scones to the breakfast just before we had to
reluctantly leave.The hosts were always attentive to our every need
including fresh milk at our bedroom door in the morning. We have no
hesitation to recommend Dollardstown House

This was our favorite B&B on our two week trip. The house is comfortable, and the family could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The extra touch of high tea and scones with the best cream ever really made us happy to arrive. Beautiful location!

Friendly welcome greeting. very clean, rooms lovely and all facilities very good. 6' bed and all comforts, very warm and cosy. Lots of hot water and a very good b'fast. Vena is very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble to her to help you. Highly recommend.

Theresa, the landlady, was lovely. We were attending a wedding locally and arrived a long time before the official check-in time. No bother whatsoever. Theresa had our room, and those of our companions, ready when we arrived. The breakfast was also very good.

Stayed at Moate house while my children were dancing at a feis in Punchestown event centre. The accomodation is just a short drive to event centre which was ideal. I stayed with my boyfriend for three nights in Moate House. We were staying in a separate part to the rest of the lodgers. This meant that we had our own private kitchen where we could cook dinner if we wanted. There was also a living area and a huge bedroom with one double, two singles and an ensuite bathroom with a huge shower! It was so lovely to have so much space to ourselves.
