Enjoyed every minute...upgraded to the luxury suite and certainly worth it...waking up with a view of the Mcgillicuddy Reeks, wow! Any complaints about the lack of tea/coffee facilites are wasted, head downstairs and use the excellent facilities - Excellent, professional, courteous and friendly staff, who treated us like family. The hotel was relaxed and the opportunity to chill out in the lounge with afternoon tea provided was very nice. I noticed some other guests - particularly children seemed to really enjoy it. There was ample seating and it was bright and airy - good for reading or chatting!!
The location was good too on the way to Muckross but near enough to town to walk.
There was a lot of menus of local eateries available in the lobby too which would have been very useful had they been pointed out to us...we

Very friendly accommadating staff.
Very close to town centre.
My twin room was spacious, and although the shower room was small it had a very good power shower.
Part of our group were expecting a triple room but were given a huge sized quad room with very spacious bathroom.
Excellent breakfast with lots of choice...fruit juice,cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and then a full Irish breakfast.
I would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

We found Marie and Dennis to be extremely Welcoming friendly and informative.The breakfast was more than you could ask for and presented beautifully every morning, it kept us going all day which was great as we had a very busy schedule.The room was both clean and comfortable, We Arrived late in the evening and had made Dennis and Marie aware of our situation earlier in the day,we found them very accommodating on this issue. we travel extensively and would have no problem recommending Lake Lodge
