  Jane, the hostess, is wonderful and helpful. The food is lovely. Our needs were met, but there was never a sense of intrusion on our privacy. Our son loved playing with Jane's two small, very friendly and well mannered dogs. Heather Lodge has a spectacular view. - Everything about Heather Lodge was fantastic. Jane, the owner, and her family are just incredible people. The lodge was simply great and the best experience was that checking in and out was based on trust. Of course breakfast was wonderful and the view of the lake from our family room a bonus. We will be happy to return the someday when we visit again.

The staff were very willing to help and deal with any requests.   I found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a pleasant staff. - Since I was only sleeping at the hotel, I didn't have an opportunity to try their breakfasts or use the bar. However, generally the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the one dinner I had was of good quality.
