Amed Save yourself from looking amymore for a place to stay in Amed, Solaluna Beach Homestay is IT! We booked 2 nights at Solaluna Beach Homestay, in late August 2013, and wish our stay could have been longer! We found our room, bungalow, and accomodations to be quite nice. The room is spacious, the bed comfee, there is a nice size wardrobe closet to hang and store clothes. We really appreciated the refrigerator in the room, the fan and airconditioning. todos opiniões » Beautiful bungalow right on the beach. Very clean and stylish. Good AC and ceiling fan and fridge available. Fantastic sunrises and sunsets with Mt. Agung at the background. Tasty breakfast served on the veranda and coffee and tea available all day long. The owner Gede and his wife are very helful and kind. They prepared fresh grilled fish several times for us. We had fun using kayaks and sunbeds just in front of the bungalow. Very good position in Amed near some lovely restaurants. Being furth. Great little place. We stayed for 3 nights and it was our most enjoyable stay in Bali. Gede was an excellent host and really could not of asked for more. He was more than helpful in organizing daily excursions/activities and saved us money in doing so by gaining better deals than we could of. He also cooked us fresh fish on two nights for nothing! The homestay is very comfortable. Very large bathroom and bedroom with comfy bed. Outside has table and chairs with a day bed overlooking a nice gard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Solaluna Beachside Bungalows The bungalow was near new, simple abd tastefully furnished.it was also spotlessly ckean with colourful well maintained small garden We loved relaxing on the day bed , looking at the picturesque views of mountsains and the calmness of the ocean. Just a couple if steps and we were into the beach where we enjoyed fishing , swimming and talking to the locals . The breakfast was simple but very nice ,We were lucky enough to have the fis. The additional bed on the veranda with a wonderful view at the beautiful garden, the mountain Agung, the beach and the sea :-) Breakfast (to choose from a small menu) served at the terrace (e.g. delicious banana pancake). Sometimes grilled fish served in the evening (special request and if available). Good contact to the owner. Clean mosquito net, covering the whole bed. Refrigerator available in the room. The one and only place to stay directly at the beach with a lovely garden and of course a very comfortable room and terrace. Remember this is not a resort but a homestay run by an exceptionally friendly family. Gede takes care of all your wishes.It was lovely to enjoy the breakfast on the terrace. There a many options for good and inexpensive food in the direct vicinity of the homestay. You reach the homestay through a grey field where salt is produced when it is the right season. Loved having two rooms side by side... his and hers verandah's as I was travelling with a friend. The day bed on the verandah was my favourite place to be with a lovely view of the ocean and a nice cool breeze. We had a party on the beach with live music by the friendly locals. Having to leave!. On the first night: the roosters and local fishermen waking you up at 5.30 in the morning. But it was something we got used to very quickly. Eventually, this is what makes Solaluna unique as well. Couldn't stay longer :). Subdued lighting is very romantic but you can't read a book. Roosters and goats pretty noisy at 5am, but, hey, it's not Kuta and that's great. Beach littered. Limited choices for breakfast, considering the price of the rent, the meal was not adequate. The same thing with light at night, it was not adequate either.
