I stayed at Shanti home twice, once at the beginning and once at the end
of my India trip. It is a little way from the city centre, which is nice
as a bit quieter and anyway only 3 minutes from the metro. It is a
lovely, spotlessly clean place and the staff go out of their way to make
you welcome. The food is their rooftop restaurant was some of the best I
had in India and anytime I return to Delhi I will always stay here.

The hotel is new and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and they care about the customers' comfort. The manager can help to manage train tickets, taxi, maps, however the package tours organized by hotel are inappropriate expensive with rates you can negotiate in town. I came alone to New Delhi to see around! First of all, the staff is very nice and very efficient! Anything I needed they were ready to help me. Even if I want to visit somewhere and wanted to get a tuc-tuc instead of a cab, they used to call one for me and explain the driver where they should drop me and also check the price, which is important when you are a foreign, to not be extra-charged.
