  Hotel Godwin is an Oasis in Paharganj, an area which is authentically Indian. Very close to the train station and one of the main bazaar areas of Delhi. A 50 rupee tuk tuk to Connaught Place offering fantastic shopping. All staff we encountered were amazing and made us feel very special. Found - Large clean and well designed rooms with excellent ensuite, a/c etc. Staff very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was large and tasty...except no real coffee. But that is difficult in India. All who work there were well trained in how to be friendly and helpful to guests.

Attention: if you arrive at Delhi airport for the first time, never take a private taxi. Once you leave the airport building they will descend on you and try to get you in their cab. Don't do it! The manager was very accomodating and considerate in permitting 3 rd memebr in our room with out extra charges. The cook Mr. Negi was very particular in helping us decide menu and he himself suggested some lovely dishes,his hot phulkas was jus excellent specially after a tiring day.

  The staff was the highlight, they were so helpful and so friendly, their insights were truly helpful. The hotel room we stayed in was quiet and comfortable. The bed was soft and very much safe for my back. We really had a hassle free stay. The location was literally perfect. Ten minutes to everywhere and the metro was right outside the market.   when i checked in the hotel i had to ask for complimentary bottle of water from reception .But any thing apart that wonderful loved there spa.
