Gini and George were excellent hosts! We stayed on two occassions, at the start and end of our Kerala trip, and found it to be comfortable and perfect for exploring Fort Cochin. Our hosts were extremely helpful with finding our way around the area and advised us on the best ways on travelling onto Munnar and organised taxis to and from the airport. From here we took day trip to the elephants and Athirapally waterfalls. (I would recommend to only take the waterfall portion of this trip as the ti

The staff were really great - nothing was too much trouble. Food in restaurant was excellent, both breakfast & evening meals. First night we phoned down to say the wifi signal was very weak, and in minutes the porter was up with a wifi booster for the room. Signal was excellent after that. Handy location for shops etc, and not too far to walk to the waterfront via busy trading street lined with interesting small businesses. Easy to get transport to airport. Gave me some interesting material for my next novel after successfully publishing Changing Pillion, an adventure romance, released in2012.

This is superior budget option with internet cafe, food cafe, tour advice, backwater boat tickets, and really smart and interesting staff who will do everything to make an excellent stay in Kochi. Also comfortable rooms with 24 hour hot water.

Tissa Inn lived upto the reviews and it is indeed a wonderful place. Fort Cochin is a quite locality and this property is ,as mentioned earlier, quite and relaxing. Smiling receptionists, helpful staff, good and spacious rooms. They made my stay in Cochin memorable.
