  We stayed in the Vatnsstigur 11 building, which is perfectly located just off the main street Laugevegur - close to everything, but not disturbed by nightlife at all. No reception staff, but self check-in and finding the room key was easy. Just 200 yards from the sea front and the Sun Voyager statue. The one bedroom apartment (403) was great.   Raphael, the manager, was very friendly and helpful. The Guesthouse Villa is in a fantastic location. Close enough to walk to everything in downtown Reykjavik. Yet far enough away from the rather loud and busy late night haunts that the noise does not affect you. - This hotel is located in the city centre of Reykjavik.
