The check in process was smooth, a very friendly woman at the front desk. We stayed in a studio apartment with a private hot tub, and it was great. We enjoyed the apartment and found the staff to be incredibly helpful.
The kitchen saved us a lot of money on food, though it should be noted
there's no oven here. The hot tub was nice to have but not
particularly interesting (no jets or anything like that). We did a
northern lights tour with Saga that was particularly good. We also found
this location easy to use as a base of operations for our adventures in
the North of Iceland.

We also booked rafting with them which I'd very much recommend. -
A great location to stop when touring the island, a few miles off of Route 1 but easy to find in a scenic valley. But then all of Iceland is scenic.
