Iceland was fantastic! The countryside was unique, and we especially enjoyed the Golden Circle tour, and the Blue Lagoon. Our Smaragata 1-bedroom apartment with kitchenette and private facilities was close to the city bus terminal, and an easy 10-15 min walk to the city and major attractions. The owners were friendly and very helpful.

We rented the studio apartment for a week. We were making a first visit to the University. Innkeeper Thorri was very helpful and kind. As we walked around Reykjavik, we never saw a better value for this level of amenities and character. We love staying in historic and cultured homes like Gastafell. The 1 bedroom apartment was fully equipped and in a wonderful quiet location but literally minutes from everything. Breakfast was excellent.

We rented two Hansen apartments (lower and top levels) and found them to be excellent value. Both apartments were extremely clean and just as pictured. The apartment is really big, which is about 62 sq m. It is so clean and comfortable. The best part is the kitchen, you can find everything there, even for oil, salt, tea bags etc...The host is very nice, he showed us where to go, the supermarkets, shops on a map and welcomed us with orange juice! There is a phone which is connected to the host's cell phone. So, you won't have to worry and there is always someone for you to ask for help during the stay. I think it is not easy to find such a good hotel in the center of Reykjavik. The hotel is just beside the church, very convenient, quiet and clean.
