We had an excellent stay at the Budapest residence! It started when we
arrived terribly late as we were caught in a snow storm driving from
Krakow and did not arrive until 2am. The concierge (I believe his name
was Peter or Paul - sorry!) Was so friendly and greeted us like we
arrived at 2 in the afternoon! He happily took us to our room, showed u

The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short
vacation or a long stay. The metro station is 5 mins walk away, as are
the starting points for all the tourists hop-on buses. It is located
within the gozsdu court where there are nice cafes and bars around. The
artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with
information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on
some bookings.

Rooms very old and tired, not four star, but staff were really friendly and Brasserie very good. No firdge in room I was first allocated not good for four star, I complaned and they upgraded me. Really nice room and relatively spacious - about 30 sq m. Breakfast in the hotel is very tasty. All products are very fresh. They make very good coffe, orange fresh and various eggs and creps made for you. Lunch&dinner dishes are excellent. Especially fish of the day and goat cheese salad. Bathroom is very nice and comfortable. Bed is really big and nice. Good location in the center.I liked the attitude. Very willing and attentive stuff.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The place was really elegant,
tidy and quiet, the rooms were perfect and the breakfast was delicious.
The accomodation is in beautiful surroundings, quite close to the city
centre which can be reached easily by public transportation (bus), or
it's also a good way to approach the city walking along the Danub

We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

Thoroughly loved the apartment, it was larger than expected and the five of us were very comfortable. A short walk to the metro or tram gives access to the city. Modern hotel, that offers 4-star standard rooms, that are sufficiently
equipped and comfortable. Nice view from the 12th floor, where you can
find a spa and fitness area and the hotel bar. Free parking and free
internet access even when using the computers in the lobby. Various
breakfast. Almost unbeatable price-/performance ratio for the city
of Budapest.
