I had read that Nicolas is an awesome guy, but this was something else. He picked us up from the port, he took us to rent a car, every single day he was making us coffee (along with his lovely wife), giving us fruit directly from his garden, cake and many more. A more expensive room than the one we had booked was free during our stay, so he upgraded us for free! When we had to give the car back, he brought us back to the hotel with his car and then drove us to Chora to see the Monastery. He als.
todos opiniões » The hotel is located in a beautiful and serene location near the town of Scala on Patmos. The mountains and sea are visible from the hotel. The owner, Nicolas, and his wife, are consumate hosts. We arrived by ferry during the middle of the night and Nicolas was there to meet us and take us to the hotel. He later returned us to the ferry at the end of our stay. Nicolas even drove us around the island to show us the sights. His small hotel is clean and comfortable. He could not have been mo. excellent value for money. however central location and close to everything. with a short walk you are in the beautiful beach of Meloi. the apartments are clean spacious and equipped with a kitchenette. you can safely cook pasta or breakfast. quiet place, only a few rooster in the morning and nice view from the balcony. Nicolas and his family are very welcoming and friendly. and they offered many delights of their garden. excellent tomatoes, fruit ... thanks nicolas and we hope to return soon.-. The proprietor Nicolas and his family were very welcoming. My ferry arrived at 3 am and Nicolas' son was waiting for me at the port to take me to the hotel! Breakfast was included. They took me into town the next day to pick up my rental car. (Even though it is only a 10-15 minute walk to town). Also they are on the north side of the Port, which is more residential and quiet. So you are close to the restaurants and port, but far enough away from the noise. They weren't in a rush to have me chec. The studios are bright, airy, quiet and very clean, with a view across fields to the marina. While probably closer to 1400 metres from the port than the advertised 900, the walk is a pleasant 15-20 minutes and the distance is unimportant since Nikolas meets all ferries and is ever ready to drive people into Skala and elsewhere. (Being away from the noise of the port is actually an advantage). There is also an excellent taverna 300 metres from the studios. Nikolas' helpfulness, which also runs t. From the minute we arrived our host Nicolas was amazingly hospitable - even picked us up at the port and taxied us to the studios . His family were just as lovely and went all out to make us welcome . The rooms were sparkling clean - comfortable and had gorgeous views of the port and beyond . Nikos helped find the best places to eat and visit and the island is magical. Absolutely excellent. We had booked in for 4 days and decided to take a further three days. The location is just out of town and is very quiet, it is ten minutes walk from a beautiful beach. The owner Nicholas and his wife are very welcoming and hospitable and the rooms are kept clean and fresh. A thoroughly pleasant stay. The owner and his family were so helpful, generous and hospitable that we felt like old friends even though it was our first visit. We have travelled extensively in the Greek islands and have never come across more friendly accommodation. We received a tremendous welcome with fresh figs and melon. Nothing was too much trouble,we even got a lift to the local beach and to and From the ferry I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who likes a peaceful and relaxed location. Kyrios Nikos picked us from the port at 3am, treated us like family from the get go. Coffee and cake in the morning. Drove us to the Cave of the Apocalypse. Beach is just over a hill and the waters are like glass. Clean place, friendly owner, nice view and an excellent garden from which fresh fruits were offered all the time. Agriolivado Beach 30min walk, Psili Amos Beach best in Patmos, Nikolas driving you everywhere ;). Great hospitality from a family owned hotel. Clean, tidy, and traditionally designed rooms.
