Named after the 15th-century Grand Master Piero Raimondo Zacosta, this 3-room B&B is set near the Unesco-classed Rhodes' Old Town. John was a wonderful host to his lovely private villa. He put the effort into all the little extras that make all the difference - like emailing us a few days beforehand to confirm our arrival details, coming out to meet us where we parked our car to help us with our luggage and show us the way to his villa, etc.. Breakfast was very good and in the beautiful surrounds of the villa's little courtyard. The room was clean and spacious - though to be fair, John kindly upgraded us to the suite (so w.
todos opiniões » This little hotel is hospitality at it's finest. The owner, John, is incredibly helpful to make your stay perfect in every way. The location in old Rhodes town is perfect for walking to everything and yet the setting is quiet. The private courtyard is lovely for breakfast and sipping wine in the early evening. The bathrooms are beautifully done, clean and efficient. The beds are great. It's a perfect little oasis. We were traveling with another couple and it was a wonderful spot to come h. We loved the hospitality of John (owner) and the bountiful breakfasts served every morning in the courtyard. John sources all the food from the local bakery and markets, and it is all extremely fresh and very tasty! We also loved the intimacy of the Villa - with only 3 bedrooms available - we always received personalised & friendly service. Also loved the amenities. Loved the breakfasts with OJ, spanikopita, fruits, breads, cereals, rice pudding! The rooms were all lovely, the bathrooms were gorgeous, and John our host was outstanding. It was a quiet place, close to the center of town but off the beaten track. We highly recommend this place and will stay again if we're lucky enough to go back to Rhodes. The owner, John, is a gracious and generous host who goes out of his way to be helpful and make his guests feel right at home. The style of the guest house is nice, rather old style with some charm. Its location in a quite peaceful place but at close distance from the old town activity is also a good point. The breakfast was quite correct overall, although with limited choice. Finally John is a very friendly and helpful person. Proprietor John Pelidis was fabulous and did so much to make our visit to Rhodes more enjoyable, provided information, arranged taxi's, made good recommendations for restaurants and sight-seeing. We used the Travelpal-Rhodes app which was really helpful. John, the owner, was extremely accommodating and helpful. Picked us up from the port and helped us with our luggage. Good advice as to where to eat and what to see. I like the small villa style as opposed to a big hotel. Very friendly and relaxing. The friendly, informative, personalized service from the owner, John. The central position within the fascinating old town of Rhodes, though very quiet, as located down a quiet Cobbled street. The gourmet breakfasts. EVERYTHING! John was a wonderful host, beautiful breakfast each morning, and a beautiful room. It was more than I expected. I would definitely stay there again and we hope to get the chance. John is the perfect hostess. He picked up us at the port. Only a very minor detail - but the detergent used on the sheets had a very strong fragrance.. I'm a bit sensitive to that sort of thing so found it a bit annoying, but it really is just a very small detail!. We honestly could not fault it. We had the downstairs room and found it a little dusty and noisy. We could hear our upstairs neighbours walking on their floor (our ceiling) and moving their bags around. Internet connection was a tad unreliable. The room was really smaller than what we expected as indicated on the web site, but John was kind enough to offer a substantial discount and accept without difficulty that we change hotel. The bed was also too soft for my wife's back, who has problems at wake-up in such cases. All good. Nothing. nothing. Ground floor bedroom can be disturbed with walking in room above and it's adjacency to the courtyard and entrance. Not a problem with other rooms.
