Excellent location to see sunset, perfect view & facilities. The hotel owner & staff are very nice and friendly, they offered us a free upgrade for our birthday. Thank you so much! Everything's are perfect!!!

A quaint group of traditional Santorini-type-caves. Beautifully situated with the best sunset viewing from your verandah. Close to everything including a great 'public' pool.

the location is great,best place to watch the sunset, great for honeymooners and couples, 30 secs walking from a close resort, 30 sec walking from a parking

no internet access in the rooms, you should go to the terrace to get connection

It's very beautiful hotel with amazing view for sunset. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. We love Markos! He recommended us a lot of good things to do in Oia.

Spiradoula and her staff were terrific--from answering questions long before we arrived, arranging for a taxi to and from the port, and responding to questions or needs as they arose. In other words, really excellent people and we felt very good with them. The windmill where we stayed was the primo location, private for us with essentially a wrap-around 'deck' to view the sea, the sunsets, the island.

Not a dislike but a caution to anyone considering the windmill: the stairs up to the two bedrooms are steep for some people so unless you are in good shape and have no problems with stairs, book one of their other rooms.

Toilet/shower room too small. Dangerous steps to access internal rooms - a trip hazard.

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The staff are also friendly. The view from our balcony is amazing! We are very happy that we chose this hotel. Location is great, right in Oia village. We will stay here again when we come to Santorini next time.

The bed was uncomfortable. Other than this, we have no other complains.

It was a pleasant and memorable stay in Golden Sunset. The owners were very very kind and helpful, is the greatest spot for a romantic and private sunset view. We enjoyed every moments.

The only troubled thing is the internet connection. Couldn't get connected due the architectural structure of the buildings, however it should be able to improve in order to provide a more convenient stay for travellers.

Absolutely loved the location and the styling of the villas. It is unbeatable.

The rooms are no more than 2 stars. Very basic, old and lacking functionality. The furniture needs to be replaced. The shower-toilet-basin unit is poorly designed.

The location was the best in Oia if you would like to see the sunset from the nice angle at the silent private space. Its unique windmill added good atmosphere. The staff was fiendly, supportive and carried our luggage to our next hotel.

The room was spacious but dark and some facilities did not work, even considering the fact that the hotel is old, traditional one. Wife was virtually unavailable in the room.

Fantastic, absolutely stunning views 360 degrees! Also, the owner and staff were very friendly and kind. In fact, my wife had left her pair of sunglasses on the plane, and the owner took the trouble to call the airline and retrieved it from the airport personally--talk about great personal service! We will definitely visit this place again.

The design of the bathroom was somewhat inconvenient. The humidity inside the lodging was a bit on the high side, hence, a dehumidifier would be a nice addition.

The location of this hotel is excellent!!! It is located right next to the windmill!! We can enjoy the oia sunset without the disturbance of other tourists!! ( they are stucked outside ). It is awesome!!!! Kitchen is included in the room! We can cook whatever we want. Well equipped kitchenwares. One more fabulous thing!! The view from the terrace in the breakfast area is superb!!!!! I have never seen such a stunning view before. This hotel is absolutely worth going!!! Highly recommended. Owner can speak fluent English and they are so friendly.

Excellent Location and a great view. People take pictures of Santorini Wind Mill during sun-set and we stayed right under the same very wind mill, quite literally at Golden Sunset Villas!
