Everything. It was beautifully furnished - we liked how it tried to stay traditional to the Cretan style. The facilities were amazing, as was the food (tasty and an excellent choice) - and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Our room was amazing - very spacious, comfortable and with a beautiful view. -

We stayed at the Happy Cretan for three nights and the only bad thing I have to say is that we didn't have more time there. The hotel setting was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were fresh and clean along with being eco-friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the menu for the evening meal was fantastic and was prepared by a fantastic chef...we were never disappointed by what was served. The food is nothing special, though. It depends what one expects. We ate -
Clean modern facilities. The food was adequate and plentiful, but not gourmet or 5 star! You could spend all day at various pools and in the spa, the bars, the restaurants, but we used it as a base to explore. A bus comes daily to take you to Heraklion, but a car gives you more freedom.

weren't conviced that the apartments would be as nice as the photos.
We shouldn’t have worried as the apartments, pool and gardens were even

for inviting our two friends who were staying in the studio above us).
M - Everything at this place was wonderful. The place was very clean and everything worked perfectly. The air conditioning worked very well and made absolutely no noise unlike in the other places we checked out. Mary, the hostess was wonderful. She took very good care of us and tried her best to accommodate us in every possible way. She even pushed back the pool closing time another 15 minutes just so that we could take a very much wished swim before we went to bed. Great place to visit and the sea
