Lovely, peaceful town in the country. A good range of local shops. Staff in hotel very friendly and accommodating. hotel itself was pleasant enough and clean. Room a little small for four-day stay. To have to be at breakfast by0815 is too early for people on holiday. Proprietor was unpleasant in manner. We had to pay on arrival even though the stated hotel policy was to pay on the evening before departure. I tried to point this out to the proprietor but language difficulties intervened. He seemed to have a fixation about where we parked our car (parking was in hotel entrance way) - wherever we put it seemed to provoke a tirade.
