  The proximity to the Train and Bus Stations was excellent. We simply exited the Train station (south exit) and the hotel was there.We went on several day trips from Rennes on both trains and buses.   My friend and I spent one night in Rennes on our backpacking trip. Le Magenta was the cheapest place we could find (cheaper than hostels) and wow, it was a win for the money! Absolutely perfect for anyone, on a budget or not. The receptionist was extremely sweet and our room was clean and very nice. Everything is brand-new. I wo - Lovely and well-situated hotel very close to train, bus and metro stations. Room was well-sized, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and had good knowledge of the area, though I don't know if anyone there speaks English or any other languages. Good if you are on a budget, and though it's small, it doesn't have that budget hotel feel. Free WiFi!!!
