The room was clean, staff friendly, and it was close to everything. Very quiet, great water pressure in the shower, and the whole place smells lovely (of lavender). A very nice experience.

Pretty much everything though we did not eat at the hotel apart from a coffee and croissant in the morning so i would have to limit our comments in that regard - i think the location is probably what made the strongest impression with its panoramic view of the beach and promenade. -

shopping street, Rue Gambetta, is perfect once you arrive. The street
can be packed with people, but it closed down at 8 P.M. when we were
there in April, offering complete quiet for the evening. We thought the
beautifully-presented breakfast was well worth the money. St. Jean-de-
Luz is a great base for seeing the Basque country, and Les Almadies is a
