  An outstanding choice for a bed and breakfast location in Amboise in the Loire Valley. Excellent location close to the major walking street shops and excellent restaurants as well as the chateau and Clos de Luce -the Da Vinci house,Tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated comfortable accomodations and a magnificent walled garden and swimmin... o que as pessoas dizem » g pool. Excellent breakfast and a wonderful ambience throughout. However the most oustanding aspect of Au Charme Rabelaisien was our hostess Sylvie wh - This was a delightful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was enormous. The bathroom was bigger than some of the hotel rooms we have stayed in, with a large bath in which to luxuriate. We also enjoyed the town. Very relaxed and with many dining options to choose from. An ideal place as a base to explore the Loire Valley and it's many Chateaus. Our host Sylvie was a delight. Extremely helpful and obliging , with a wonderful bubbly personality. Would rate this as the best B & B we h

  Large clean room, friendly staff, good restaurant, easy access to/from motorway - The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was overpriced for what was available. The restaurant was clean and the food was basic and again we felt overpriced.
