Just a hop, skip and a jump from the Montparnasse station, one metro line stops right at the corner and many more within a block's distance. Friendly English-speking and helpful staff, breakfast delivered to the room, nice and clean rooms, good bath; my room had a great balcony to sit in and breath the city air. I loved the location, Rue Daguerre is a bustling street with plenty of bars, cafes, nightclubs and restaurants as well as a lovely market. You are within 40 mins walk of the Eiffel and Notre Damme, or alternatively there are very close metro stations at each end of the street.
