The location was great, a few blocks from the Louvre, We walked most places and used the Metro at times and took the RER to Versailles. All these were close and good restaurants too.   The hotel is great because it is friendly and clean and our room had a great view of the roof tops. La Marais is a very interesting and atmospheric location. It is easy to access the Seine and other places of interest. We especially enjoyed the Jewish quarter and the falafels.   1. Hotel looked much better than on the photos!!! The furniture was new and modern!! 2. Bed was very comfortable 3. Balcony and table inside and outside was very nice to have breakfast!! 4. Hotel reception staff very helpful. i thought breakfast was plentiful, and good value for money at a special price of 6.95 euro (it had been advertised online as 10 euro which was still ok.). the room and common areas were very clean. best of all was the supportive bed for a problematic back.
