  Loved being in the heart of things - next door to the moulin rouge, in an area of paris that never sleeps. We were four storeys up with a full length balcony, so could watch everything from our apartment.noise was not a problem as he apartments are double glazed. Despite some Paris in the springtime snow, the apartment was warm and cosy. We enjoye... o que as pessoas dizem » d having the use of a kitchen to eat at home when we felt like it. But also loved the restaurants which were a 5 minute walk away. Highly recommend 'L - Location: in the middle of a lively area that stays awake throughout most of the night (hotel is adjcent to Moulin Rouge), it is also 50m from an entrance to the metro. Still at night, if the windows are shut - the room is quiet and cozy. Size: it is certainly not large, but compared to other places at this price range we managed (with 5/8yr old kids) perfectly well inside - anything more may become an issue! Everything inside seemed to work fine, we even managed to cook one meal :) Price: exce

The gentle noises of the evenings drift through the wide windows and you have a real sense of being in Paris. The room was large by Paris standards with a good sized toilet and shower. Wifi is working well. the location is great if you want to be in Montmartre, it's the best location in the heart of it. Abbesses is the nearest metro station, or you can go to Pigalle.   I liked the area a lot, since it was an urban residential area. I had awonderful dinner for a low price at a nearby restaurant, and most peoplewalking by waved at the owners. - easy to find, small room but clean, tasty breakfast..no problems at all..I would recomend Villa Van Gogh
