  I stayed here last summer and was impressed then, so returned with friends for a weekends shopping. Stayed two nights, great food, great staff, and great leisure facilities. Rooms comfortable and clean, plenty of on site parking. The hotel is next to a roundabout, but you don't hear the traffic.   Room was compact but there was everything we needed. Nice to find a bath/shower. Hairdryer in bathroom. Kettle, tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits. The hotel has a bar and a restaurant which did not give the impression of "budget". Also nice sitting area at the front of the hotel. Short walking distance for local hypermarket and restaurants (very good chinese buffet recommended by the receptionist). Mi - I was going to arrive late, and I was called with the gate security details and the room number. I arrived 15 minutes before lockup, and everything was set for me to stay. I needed to leave very early the next morning and again everything was smooth. I've used this hotel before as a place to stay after a long journey before catching a eurostar, and it's very convenient and used to travellers arriving late and leaving early. The rooms are small, but all I care about it that the room is quiet and

  The hotel is new and hence spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent even though we were informed it was a very small selection.   Initially we picked the hotel because we only wanted to spend one night in Calais en route to central France and it was reasonably priced. We found it to be excellent on all matters.
