  We wanted to stay in a traditional french chateau and not a typical budget hotel. The Chateau is quirky, the owner non english speaking but lovely and friendly, we had a family room with lots of old traditional furniture and fresh made coissants, orange coffe and hot chocolate in the morning - just what we wanted. Colette couldn't have been more lovely and accommodating. We stayed in Le Suite. My 2 girls loved staying in the chambre jeune filles, and pretended they were princesses the whole time we were there. Our room was beautiful too, with a magnificent four poster bed and our own small en suite.. Heartily recommend. We stopped on the way back to the UK from SW France as the distance was perfect.
