Although part of a big resort complex, and was busy at the time of my visit, the hotel had a peacefulness and relaxed feel. The location is very beautiful and secluded; it is right on the edge of beautiful lake with pine forests all round. A great place for those who like nature. -

The design of the building is nice. All the rooms have balconies and open toward a lake. The rooms are pretty standard hotel rooms, but well designed. The spa is also fairly basic but still quite nice. (The hotel is favored by families with young kids, as the Ähtäri zoo is just across the road.) The breakfast is really nice. -
