Location (very short walk to the castle and harbor) as well as the eagerness of Sandy (property manager) to help us find and secure a parking spot for our car and to answer all of our questions. The appointment, cleanliness and size and of our double room w/private toilet and shower met and exceeded our expectations.
Driving on the one-way Petrova street and finding # 40 (and a parking spot - public parking only) could be a little challenging if you are not aware of the following:

Perfect location in the old town, right between the city centre, the beach, the main train and bus station and the harbor; less than 5 minutes walk to all of it. Also close to restaurants and supermarket. Very friendly and helpful people. :-).
Basic, clean, friendly. I'm an eccentric who just wanted a place to lay my head and it was fine. I've already filled in this form as I stayed both before and after I went to a remote place on the Dalmatian islands.
Great location in a nice old and quiet part of town, on a quaint street full of restaurants, and right by the centre. Owners are friendly and accommodating, and keep a clean and comfortable residence.

Parking in the center of any old villages/cities in Croatia and elsewhere is problematic. Sooo....don't complain and get with the program!.
Access to the bathroom was curiously steep for the less agile... a little extra step or handle on the wall might have helped.
The room is a self-contained unit within what is essentially a flat shared with the owner, which, despite privacy being respected, some people might find a little odd. But at least it means help is always on hand.

Location was on a rough area and a bit of a walk to the Old Town/ city centre.
No where to put clothes apart from 4 hooks over door! Had to leave suitcases flat on floor so clothes didn't crease too much so hardly any floor space left in room .1.5 foot step down from ? Wet room to floor no hand rail etc quite dangerous. Sink in wet room tiny, unable to wash properly in same or fit small bottle under tap to get drink water. no other facilities for drinks available. Owners daughter constantly monitoring guests.
Small size room and bathroom. No mirrors in the room. Thin walls let all outside noise in the room.
hotel neighbourhood was poor.
Restricted rules at home. The owned has charged us 40 kuna for two nights for towels and lineld which we didint ask for. At this range of 3stars apartment its highly disappointing and suprising practice. We were informed that we cant make even small lundry or wash our underwear becouse it will cause mess in the room. We dont recoment this place. We were not friendly treated.

don't be cheated by the description on letsbookhotel.com. it took us more than 15 minutes to reach the hotel from the bus station. the hotel hidden some extra costs for linen and towel in the description. we end-up pay 15% more for the room. for this room rate we can find a better hotel nearby.
this host lady was horrible. she was very unkind, unfriendly and rude.there was no bathroom in our room. it is outside. toilet and shower was in the same place which is too small to use. it was very hot weather but she turned off the airconditioner all the time, so we couldn't stay in the room. she was phoning next our room with too loud voice all day long, so we have no time to have a rest. our experience in this accomodation was the worst in my whole life!!!.
The landlady was rude and very unaccommodating. It was a very inconvenient accommodation since it does not have an information 24 hrs. It also does not have a 24 hrs. Hot shower. It was the worst accommodation i ever had with letsbookhotel.com.
