  We highly recommend staying at this studio. It was impeccably clean and comfortable and has all the amenities one could wish for including a washing machine, large tv, dvd player (+dvds), microwave etc. Mirica and Vicko are such welcoming hosts who make sure that you have everything you need. The location is fantastic, just two minutes from the ol... o que as pessoas dizem » d town with all it's cosy restaurants. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun after a day of activities! - Vicko meeting us at ferry port in his big 4x4, and later taking us back. Since it wasn't booked and we stayed for 2 days he let us have a very spacious duplex apt so I cannot comment on what the smaller rooms are like. Korcula is a gorgeous little gem of a town and I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant prices which seem to be much cheaper than those in the other very touristy places we stayed in - Split, Brac, Hvar, Cavtat.

  The Marco Polo Apartments are located conveniently in the Old City of Korcula. The owner Edita came to meet us when we reached the gate of the city to direct us to our accommodations. Any accommodation, like this one, within the old city is convenient since Korcula is not a big place. The location is right in the middle of old town with access to the best restaurants and sights literally just a few steps away. The complex itself is a nicely updated set of apartments in a 12th century building.

  Anna & her husband were so friendly and nice and couldn't do enough for you. They picked us up at the bus and dropped us off as well as took us into town to hire bikes. They provided us with plently of information and were very willing to assist in anyway they could. When we got the bikes we hadn't taken our ID and Anna kindly left hers which ... o que as pessoas dizem » was very trusting of her. The location is great, nice and quiet but yet not far from Korcula town (3km). The hiring of bikes was great as the roads we - Ana was the most helpful and welcoming host we have ever had! The villa was in an idyllic location, with a beautiful beach with the most beautiful crystal clear water - perfect for swimming and relaxing! It is 10 minutes out of the town in a car, but I would recommend staying here as the beaches in the town are no where near as nice as this. The villa was spotlessly clean and the balcony was huge! I felt truly relaxed after 3 nights here!

  Having spent several childhood and adult holidays in Korcula, I was impressed by the White House apartments. Some of the other reviews have commented on power cuts - I can say that this isn't unusual at all in Korcula, especially when it rains (we've even had lightbulbs explode outdoors in restaurants)! The power went off when we were there too - ... o que as pessoas dizem » just a case of flipping a switch in the fuse box in the corridor. We had full working wifi there so obviously those issues of the first few weeks were - The apartment was in the centre of the old town, very clean and bright with a lovely balcony where you can enjoy evening drinks. The only one issue is you can hear people moving around upstairs. Despite this it was defiantly one of the best we stayed at in Croatia. The owner was very very helpful also.
