Our whole experience was a positive one. From booking the hotel, to confirming a pickup at the airport, being met by 'John' when we arrived, offered some tourist advice and getting a comfortable and functional room, we had no complaints. It's is a really good value for money option for budget travellers and it's location is excellent, being in the centre of the old city, within walking distance of all the key attractions in the old city. They also help us out with a driver for the next day trip.
todos opiniões » The location was great! I found the manager, John, to be one of the nicest and honest people I have met in all my world travels. He really was interested in making us comfortable. No English but they will call John for you to communicate. A side note Chinese hotel are rated differently - 3 stars are often 1 star hotels - I rate this a 2.5 stars. Lots to do in Xian around this hotel - we had a great view from the hotel. Good hotel, price was not expensive, but rooms are big and comfortable. Wifi can be used for free. It's in a perfect location, close to Bell Tower, Drum Tower and Muslim Quarter. Their driver picked us up from the North Railway Station on the day when we arrived in Xi'an. Central location, there are many good restaurants and shopping centers in a stone distance. careful service and nice rooms, excellent tour services, good value for the money we payed. very good. A great hotel apartment in Xi'an Center, there is a kitchen in each room. Staff are friendly to us. recommend it to independent travelers. Big Hotel, nice rooms. A lot of good restaurants offer delicious food, they are quite close to this hotel. Honestly the fascilities are adequate and more than good for the average tourists.We are blessed in that the hotel had a very dedicated,effective and a very kind and a high grade manager in Mr John.He ably keeps the hotel flag flying high!. Location was great very near the belltower and with the muslim street just around the corner. Manager speaks very well english and is very helpful. Computer and free internett on the room. The location is excellent; right in the middle of the walled city. Price & complimentary Taxi/Metro with Meet & Greet. the room is spacious, tidy and close to the subway station and shopping. The hotel agent Jon Te came to the station to pick us up and we all travelled to the hotel by metro. otherwise we will never find this place. Xian is a wonderful city, where there is a lot to see and experience. The hotel i situated in the middel of the center of the town. Was close to the Bell Tower and other sites. Muslum Quarter just around the corner. Good trip to see the terracotta soldiers. Not bad location and good size room. location, only the location. Location. Central location. Nope, nothing. The Location is great but the hotel is hard to find. It is located on the 9th Floor - there are other hotels in the same building - if you go in the wrong entrance when you go to the 9th Fl you will have to explore to find the check-in desk. We got no complaints.To staff and management,keep it up and definitely if some of you could improve your communicational skills you deserved more than good words from us,thank you. Room was not clean, after request at the manager he even told us that there was no vacuum cleaner available in the building. Apart from the manager, the staff is not very friendly. Rather than a "Hotel" it was a 8th floor of a multi-floor building. Apparently each floor was a different "Hotel". The halls were dark and the room was OK. We decided that we would look for another hotel on our next trip to Xi'an. Staff had difficulty with English. It is not good standard. Reminds me more of a youth hostel, then a hotel. Guess it was nice 20 years ago. It was ok to be a hostel. The first room I was given was dark and sombre. The bathroom flooded when using the shower. The staff members were fairly blasé about service and did not speak much English (although they could phone an English interpreter). The second room was much nicer; bright and a bit bigger. I think it was the 'deluxe' room, although still quite basic in its amenity. Cold shower, wet room, road noise & corridors were not clean & very dark!. staff doesn't speak a word of English. No service at all. The hotel don't have a ground entrance and it is situated inside a commercial building. not easy to located. The hotel was not that nice, but there were 3 large beds in the room. It was almost impossible to find the hotel, since is has another name than Xian Central Plaza Hotel. The staff did not speak any english. Staff had limited English. Beds were very hard. Hotel was hard to find - level 9 not 6. Hot , not clean room , non smoking is deffently not correct smoke smell in all rooms. Hard to find when the hotel has a different name up. Check in could be improved a lot. everything, except the location. Staff speak no English. The hotel basically has no facility, the breakfast is TERRIBLE, don't try it. The hotel is not clean, the room is in poor condition (there's even no toilet paper). Staff didn't speak English. Hotel changed name w/o letting us know. Poor maintence. First they gave us a room we did not book. Then they told us we should go to the "international floor" where we finally got the room we booked. All in total the check-in took more than an hour. The room key card did not work every evening we came back to the hotel, the drain in the shower worked miserably and when we checked out they even charged us RMB 20 for the soap we used (even though there was no price on it). I would not recommend this hotel at all. no English speaking unfriendly staff, (only some English via phone by ? manager) internet and tv not working, refused to reimburse part of money and instead insisting to pay 5RNB for tissue my son used, difficult to locate hotel on 9th floor of high rising building without clear signage, very tourism unfriendly.
