The location of this hotel is amazing. It's not far from East Nanjing Road metro station. There is exchange machine in the lobby. The staff speak English and they are very friendly. The room is cosy and has a bath, what is a really rare thing for China. I am sure that I will stay there every time I come to Shanghai.
Good value for money, very close to good restaurants, close to 2 subway stops (which allow one to access 5 different lines). Good value for the money, especially in Shanghai. Solid wifi.
Very strange layout (many of the rooms require you to go up 4 floors, then walk across the building to a "transfer elevator"). Facilities are good, but the bathroom was somewhat dirty.
Loved the bathroom, clean and spacious.
Air conditioning didn't work and room was too warm. We opened the windows to cool off, but it was so noisy outside. This made it difficult to rest well.

The hotel is very well located downtown, at a walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are clean and confortable. Staff is professional and efficient.Our room was supposed to be located at a lower floor but we asked for a quiet room and we have been upgraded to the 7th floor. The view was not so great, but the room was quiet (except for some noises in the morning). We could leave the luggage at the reception the next day until the evening when we had our flight. We definitely recommend it!
We had a problem with the lightning system (some lights above the bed could not be switched off) so we had to cut off all the system by removing the card. But we stayed only one night, probably the problem would have been fixed by the staff if we stayed longer.

Too many people for the breakfast, we move outside! &Quot;Paris Baguette" just in front of the hotel. Good breakfast!
Excellent location in central Shanghai. Close to subway and only a 10 minute walk to The Bund and all its facilities. Great large room with good facilities. Enjoyed our free beer and snacks in the executive bar.
The location of the hotel is excellent foe Nanjing Road for shopping, the Bund for viewing, and the English Bookstore for purchasing books.

Price is attractive, bed is soft and comfortable, Room is well furnished for general tourists. Basically is worth to what u paid. Hotel provides auto money exchange machine ex :USD to RMB CAN to REM EU to RMB etc..
Room check-in is a little bit slow and inefficient, the manner of hotel employe are not kind. The location slightly further from railway line 2 and is not easy to found where hotel is without google map or some apps.

The Bund Hotel is an attractively presented modern property. Rooms were comfortable, well furnished and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I didn't understand the wifi access policy, The hotel could explain this better, but the staff helped me.

Our room (superior twin) was really spacious and comfortable, with huge bathroom. Our three year old son didn't want to leave the bathroom, saying "this is a good shower, this is s good hotel"!

English speaking staff, although not extremely friendly. Location within 15 mintues from The Bund embankment, more or less in the centre. Near to 2 underground stations. Good business and hotel facilities.

The staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi connection at the lobby. The room was pretty clean. Quite comfortable for the price I'm paying. Value for money and the location is good with 15 minutes walk to the nearest subway.
I had wifi connection from my room on the first night but not the second night. I had to go to the lobby to be connected to wifi.

staff not qualified to deal with customers complains. As a group, I stayed on 12 floor but had no Wi-Fi in the room but my frinds had Wi-Fi in there rooms on other floors. I tried to explain to reception but wouldnot even listen and kept insisting that no Wi-Fi in the rooms

Room size small,we stayed in sixth floor and had to walk quite a bit to take the transfer elevator. The card key of the room did not work 3 times. The deposit the hotel collected has not been returned to the card even after 15 days.

unfriendly to professional traveler and unaccommodating to changes in planning... extend one night is very difficult in your hotel.
The hotel needs to be urgently refurbish. Everything is old and tired in the rooms and public areas. The lifts are slow and the lift transfer from 4th floor to 5th and 6th floors is crazy.
