It was very budget friendly. Close to a great pizza place. The owners are very friendly. Beside a park and waiting pool for the kids. The hot tub was large and very clean. Family suites are very roomy. Well always stay here when going to revelstoke. It is a older hotel but they have done their best to make it so you have a great stay. For breakfast we brought our own fruit and cereal, the breakfast included was toast, Cheerios, cornflakes and tea coffee or orange juice.

We didn't have the breakfast so I can't report on that. I'd start there again. breakfast included layout of bathroom & provisions for 3 people friendly staff close to highway but not on it not disturbed by outside noise, even with railway closeby. Good, clean, basic place. Friendly staff. We stayed there 1 night as a family passing through - this place fit the bill nicely.Continental breakfast fine & plentiful. for an older hotel, the room was in very good shape and clean. Bed very comfortable (I have arthritis in back so I know when beds are NoT comfortable). 3 full size beds for family with 3 kids was a treat after travelling all day. It was clean and quiet rest stop. Very pleasantly surprised!. The staff were very kind and the rooms are very clean. Everything was very good than I expected. Especially it is worthy to the price. That even though it was close to the tracks, the room we had was not noisy and we only heard one train. That was great. Our room was on the main floor and very quiet. No noise from the main road. Welcoming staff. Good location if you have a vehicle, 10 min walk to the downtown area. Enjoyed our stay. good effort, think the owners are really trying to improve the facility. The most comfortable beds we've slept in yet, and a nice roomy room. Gas fire place, views and proximity to town centre. Friendly staff, clean and great location. The atmosphere amongst fellow travellers and guests at this hotel was great. We were a group of 5 friends staying in the (very) large family suite, and by the time we left we had made probably 25 more friends over the course of 3 nights. Would not reccommend for families with small children, or couples looking for a comfortable get away. Would reccommend for groups of friends who are out to ski & apres ski and are looking for a clean, cheap hotel in a good location. Very clean and well appointed but just a little too far out of the township if you don't have any transport as we did. the location was great location close to a timhortons and the highway. Rooms were clean. Staff friendly. Good clean and no frills motel. A/c worked well, easy access. The room was clean , easy to get to from road way. Location Parking outside the room. This my second booking with u but I m sorry to say that it was not a good experience now I have to think twice before booking with u. Rather cheap and available. Clean, freindly.Simple. coffee maker provided but only instant coffee available. Room quite small but doable for two people (myself and my daughter). I don't have any complains. I was disappointed that it was a motel. When I did a search I was only looking for hotels and the Gateway aways came up under hotels. So to get there and find out it was a motel was a bitter disappointment. The coffee was so-so. close proximity to train track. Breakfast was very basic... we opted for our own cereal. No comment. TV quality is not that great. Old TV. My booking on letsbookhotel.com was for 6 people, but when I arrived the hotel's records showed it was only for 4 people, so we had to pay an extra 20$ a night for another person. I didn't even bother touching the continental breakfast. Get a bagel and a coffee at timmys for 4$. the fact that they allowed logging trucks to park in the lot . this seemed more like a party spot with alot of of noise at times in the morning.i would only recommend this place if you needed some where cheap to stay i would rate this place as a 2 out of 5. Breakfast very ordinary. Very poor English spoken by staff. Looks like they are doing renovations but carpet in check in area was very dirty. Poor tv reception, ants in the bed, and strong Chinese food-type smell. clerk tried to tell us our reservation was only for 1 person and the 2nd one would be $10 more. Showed her our confirmation from you-2 people for $79. She babbled on about the small print which there wasn't as we had the whole thing-not impressed. We finally got it for price booked!. extra fees for one of my kids .... it was supposed to be 154 for 3 adults and 2 kids... we were 2 adults and 3 kids and a baby... and we basically got charged 10 bucks extra for the baby,,, dumb. Construction at from enterance that stopped us from getting to our orginal room , staff wanted to charge us more for a different room - instead of caring about their quest. New room- train tracks within 50 yds - all night . 3 piece bath - shower too small. hopeless wireless internet cleanliness can improve There was a chocked toilet The air-conditioner made a lot of noise Breakfast was very basic Tea Kettle did not work. Hot water for the tea kettle was done in an Electric cooker. Shower not working Security chain wrongly fitted Quite shabby in need of refurbishment. No tea making facilities. Loud creaking from rooms upstairs. Loud fridge that had to be unplugged in order to sleep. Horrible tv. The owner disagreed with the rate I found on letsbookhotel.com. Room was cold (zero) when I got there. Soggy smell of the room was tried to spray off with refresheners. Small, tight room. Advance payment on check-in. Train track outside the room running 24 hours. Hundreds of bugs inside light fixtures, garbage from previous occupants on floor. Breakfast was abysmal, worst place I have ever been we slept fully clothed on top of all the bedding and left without showering. The photos you have are entirely inaccurate. the shower did not work. the place is old and could use some renovations.
