  It's a beautifully restored facility, furnished to resemble a Victorian residence. It's very romantic. The owner has furnished it with antiques and lovely carpets and drapes, the opposite of a chain hotel. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, wonderfully-helpful staff, full breakfast. They were so accommodating. We would definitely stay there again.

  The staff made our stay very pleasurable. They were very courteous, attended to our requests, always willing to give us information and assistance with directions, restaurants, etc. The location was the best--- right in the heart of the old city. Our room, while small, was engineered more than it was designed: every practical convenience placed right where it would be needed. The bed frame and mattress gave comfort, support, and a refreshing night's rest.
