  When I first read the on-line guests reviews, I have to admitt that I was a bit worried to reach there. I was instead pleasantly surprised. Very modern lobby, clean and large room, bed very comfortable. We could hear a bit the noise from the Laurier Boulevard but it will stop during the night.   I was worried by some of the recent reviews, but my room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is typical for a hotel continental breakfast.   The first thing that I noticed was that the staff was very friendly to everyone. The rooms seemed very clean. The verandas looking over to the pool was fantastic. The pool area was very enjoyable specially when the birds were singing. I also liked seeing a guard walking by at night. My daughter and I stayed over March Break and had a fantastic time. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and even went as far as to assist me when asking about another hotel guest whom I met (Manhattan Steve) who I never got to say good by to, would have been nice to stayed in touch with :( Fabulous Place !!   The staff members were fantastic. They attended to you whenever requested. The views in the rooms are excellent. The pool and workout room were incredible.   What is there to say about the Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac. The place is pure luxury and is a tourist attraction in it's own right!!! Of course you pay for the privilege of staying there but l had to do it once and now l have every intention of doing it again. Staff are magnificent....they should all take a bow!!   The location was excellent! It was near the highway and a very short drive from Old Quebec City and Montmerency Falls. The staff were extremely helpful and answered all my questions with ease. They provided maps on how to get somewhere and then back to the hotel. That does not happen very often. The Hotel is situated about 15 minutes by car to the Old City of Quebec and there is plenty of parking available at a cost of $15 for the whole day.   The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very helpful to us regarding the city bus route to take into the city. The bus took 25 minutes and ran so frequently that there was never a long wait. The little café next door had a good selection of breakfast or lunch items we could eat there or take with us. - The rooms had balconies which I love...being a bit claustrophobic, I don't like places where you can't even open a window, so a balcony was a treat...just sit out, enjoy a glass of wine and take in some fresh air and whatever view you have. (we could see the mountains in the distance)

We stayed the first week of August, so we were able to use a pool too. Nice , clean and entertaining for kids . Very clean rooms. Highly recommend . We had really good time .
