The room was absolutely perfect! The rain shower was awesome and the little terrace out onto Saint Denis was exactly what we wanted. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, just a close walk to Saint Catherine for shopping and many restaurants to choose from just out the front door. We loved the feel of the hotel and the way it had been renovated to keep the charm of the exposed bricks and stone. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. The hotel is located right in the heart of Old Montreal and it is within easy walking distance of great restaurants, bars, art galleries, historic sights and the waterfront. The staff was amazing. We traveled to the hotel for a weekend away for our daughter's 16th birthday and went for the Justin Timberlake concert. We found out once we got there he had postponed the concert and it basically ruined the whole mood for the weekend. We walked everywhere from the hotel and found the staff very helpful when we asked for directions. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast there but it looked really good and there were lots of places around the hotel if you wanted something smaller.
