Very friendly staff. - The Mariner King is a historic inn and beautifully decorated. The towels and bedlinen were sheer luxury and the homemade scones at breakfast divine.

  A most enjoyable 2 night stay in an historic (120+ year old) home with an outstanding deck and a view of an even more historic harbor. Room was small but room, bed, and private bath were made as comfortable as possible. Rooms were quiet. View from the room with the morning or evening sun on the harbor - wonderful. Full of genuine antique furniture, with extraordinary friendly owners. The location is perfect in beautiful downtown Lunenburg, and the breakfast is simply delicious. Bedroom with four poster bed really good.

  Over all it was a pleasant stay, we slept well even though there was this high pitch noise we believe is caused by the heating system. Nothing is perfect .We had breakfast at the Inn , they tried to accommodate my Celiac condition, however it did not work because I had a reaction to whatever was in the food, it was either the eggs or the ash brow... o que as pessoas dizem » n, not pleasant when you travel. I will still recommend the Inn to friends and family. I understand that catering to Celiac people can be quite costl - This was the second time I stayed at the Bluenose lodge. I really enjoyed it the second time around as well as the first. My family and I stayed in the hay house and felt it was very comfortable. We shared a washroom but had two separate rooms. Our breakfast in the morning was excellent. The service was great and it's a short walk to downtown Lunenburg!
