The hospitality was awesome, both before our arrival and throughout our brief stay. The staff went above and beyond my expectations to answer my questions and accommodate our special requests. Thank you, in particular, to Dawn and Bonnie! Also, I must mention that the breakfast looked and tasted amazing! Lots of selection, far surpassing my expectations once again! Bravo!. My 2nd visit this summer. It's a terrific place to stay while visiting my Kingston family. Arrived this time during the recent heatwave and was delighted by my a/c room. Quiet, friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious breakfast, comfortable and clean. What more can you ask for? Thanks so much.

My family stayed here for our daughter's convocation and it was excellent value for our one night stay. The operator even baked a vegan breakfast muffin for my daughter!. Everything especially the nice, helpfull employees. The bed was awesome and also the kitchen facilities. The best thing was the breakfast! Really reconment the place!. The beds were a bit too soft for me, so I did not sleep as well as I would have liked. In addition, given that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, it was pretty warm in the room, even with the 2 fans that were supplied to us. However, I did know in advance that there was no AC, so it was not a surprise. I had been hoping for a cool weekend, but alas, it turned out to be quite warm. n/a. I'm concerned that w/out AC the rooms may be too hot. I've made a booking for the end of July so we'll see... This is an old three story house - like many B&B's. But it does have 'charm'. noisy neighbours - student ghetto so some late night partying. to be expected. The key system made me very nervous, if my door closed and I left my key in the room. I could be locked out until the morning as there is no staff there after 4 pm. The breakfast was a little sparce for me. It would be good if there were a few more options, like a micro wave and more variety in Juices. no one around early in the day for check in. Place is old which is fine but renovations that have been don't some time ago are not finished as in only undercoated. i did not like in the room, we found dirty the desk and also too big for the room, also the big problems was the people outside were drank and did not let sleep well, sorry for my english. thanks so much. The only thing I didn't like was that their office for check in is open only from 3-4pm. Check in in person only until 4. nothing! :). Noisy locks on room doors. One shower for the whole floor. AC was noisy to sleep. It's a student co-op during the university year. Do not expect hotel standards here. But it was clean, comfortable and well-organized. A one night stay is all we needed here. Very cold in the room (heater did not work), small beds, difficult to lock room doors. More hostel than B andB.
