  We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. Golden is a great location as it is close to Banff NP, and other national parks. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. There was nothing we could fault and endorse the other very favourable reviews regarding the property, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast and more importantly owner, etc. We only stayed one night as we were on our way back to Calgary airport. Paul and Kat work hard to refresh the rooms every morning! The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were great and the hosts, Paul and Kat, are wonderful. Through their suggestions and tips we went to amazing places in the area and very good restaurant. We would definitely stay here again.
