I loved the decor, cleanliness and luxury of the hotel. The price was reasonable for the quality of service and beauty. The staff went out of their way to serve me and assist in any way possible.

That I could only stay 2 nights!

Perfect Hotel in all respect

Far away from Boates. Taxi take advantage of price leaving Hotel. on return from same spot was about Reals 15.00 cheaper

The hotel is right on the beach. The rooms on that side have wonderfull views. At night i slept with the windows open to listen to the surf. Many of the staff spoke english, and were attentive to my questions. Recife is a beautiful town with lots to do and lots of history. Finding romantic restaurants was easy.

The streets in the historic area are very narrow and rough, part of the charm

The hotel is literally on the beach, although you'll need a few minutes' walk to reach sand due to the rocky front. Good pool and terrace area, and good breakfasts. The staff were very helpful and quick to assist.

At no point did I feel the hotel was particularly clean. We had to move room shortly after checking in as water was dripping from the ceiling panels in the room. We were moved, without delay, to a suite...whilst this was a better room, there was a large amount of moss growing from a ceiling panel in the bathroom, and again, water was dripping from it. Ventilation is obviously an issue throughout the hotel, as it smells damp throughout.
