Excellent value; the presidential suite was really nice. I loved the stylish, fairly modern but comfortable style of decoration. The bathroom with jacuzzi/sauna was top-notch and the bedroom was perfect.

We couldn't fault our stay here. The rooms were lovely and they even upgraded us from a standard to a superior suite. The roof top pool was a little oasis in the middle of rio and had fantastic views over the ocean. Staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect for anyone wishing to stay at copacobana- right behind the copacobana palace (nicest hotel in rio) but for 1/2 the price. Highly recommend.

Was great to have English speaking receptionists and that they understood straight away any issues we had..which were only a couple. We were just 5 minutes walk from the Copacabana beach, also near to Sugar Loaf, a lot of taxis to get anywhere in Rio. Even in the morning rush hour the transfer to the airport took only some 20 minutes. We had a very big and comfortable room with two(!) TV screens, one big table to sit around and to eat, and a smaller one with ratan "sofa" to enjoy e.g. a coffee or drink, i. e. very unusual and luxury for that price! Helpful staff at the reception, with bell-boy. Very good breakfast. Very good

chegamos 2 horas antes do inicio do cheking e o atendente nos colocou no 1º quarto que ficou pronto, assim como nos deixou permanecer por 2 horas a mais na saida, pois nosso vôo chegou antes e saiu depois dos horários do hotel. A logística do hotel foi fundamental na hora da nossa escolha por atender as nossas necessidades e quando chegamos lá tivemos um bom atendimento e agilidade no check-in e tbém no check-out . Eu fui com o esposo e filha de 2 anos e 8 meses , ela dormiu na mesma cama que a nossa, pois ela não dorme mais em berço e o conforto ficou razoável. Talvez se disponibilizassem uma cama casal + 1 solteiro para juntar ficaria melhor.

I was there for carnival. The Hotel is about 10 min walk from the beach,
could have been closer but cant complain weather was really good. The
reception staff was very helpful in getting information of stuff
happening in the city. Overall a pleasant stay

shops, drugstores and stores. Pleasant helpful staff. Gym not tops if you are into that. Pool not exactly clean but that`s same most places in Rio. Room very comfortable and clean. Bedding not tops but it`s what you pay for. Price reasonable comparatively speaking.

The staff are what made this hotel worth the money. In particular Yuri
and LIsa. They were so helpful with recommendations, calling restaurants
and communicating for us. Just fantastic hotel staff. -

There are several things I loved about Scorial Rio Hotel:
1. The rooms were very very comfortable with the most up to date technology, beautiful bathrooms, and most importantly, very clean.
2. The Flamengo area is a great in Rio de Janeiro to stay, where you can stay at a great hotel, but not pay the price as you would in Copacabana or Ipanema. Restaurants in the area are great and its a safe area. There is also lots of shopping that can be done in Flamengo.
3. The breakfast was enormous with
