Friendlyness of staff, location just perfect, 5 minutes walking into the historic old town of graz and just next to the fresh farmers market. Athmosphere was great, the right mix of regional, clean, and not too sophisticated at the same time. We had rented the 2 bedroom appartment and were very happy. Also good selection for breakfast and a nice garden to sit outside when the weather allows it.

Staff is friendly and the food fantastic.The breakfast buffet has a great variety - at times a bit slow with refills - but the Pension is at all times busy.We definitely will return to this charming Hotel! Had a fabulous stay.... We liked the fact it was pension which offered us unique feeling unlike hotel that in every country looks&feels the same. Zur Steirerstub´n is typical local 'Guest House' with own restaurant, home-made breakfast products, local beer, etc. Perfect location for an overnight stop for those who travel to/from Croatia. Simple, nice and cosy rooms with a touch of romantic atmosphere given by pumpkin seeds spread all over the pillows. Good choice in the breakfast buffet opened till 11 for a late wake-up. Excellent location on a quite square surrounded by pubs and night bars at night and by a food market in the morning. This place exceeded my expectations because it was affordable, but the rooms were large and well kept. The food in the Inn was excellent. it is situated in city center, has a good restaurant, room was very clean and spacious, we had a bed for our child for free. Cosy rooms, very large bathroom, excellent breakfast and especially the possibility to rent a bike for free. The location is very good. Staff is very kind. Location is fine - couple of minutes from the pedestrian zone of the center. Smoking allowed in the restaurant except from the breakfast area - unfortunately you can smell it everywhere around the place. But that's a general problem in austria, obviously europe's last smoker's paradise :-(. Even though there is a non-smoking section there can be a smell of cigarettes in the dining area - as also many locals visit the restaurant due to its popularity.In warmer temperatures one can however sit in the garden where the smoke is not an issue!. The only drawback were the curtains which let too much light in. There was too much smoke, but this was everywhere in Graz. On the bright side, they had a non-smoking room for dining. There is no elevator. Cause the ground floor is a restaurant, the room is one floor above the restaurant. Thus, you have to carry your luggage downstairs when you check out. breakfast. The smokers in the restaurant. Everything was fine. incredible smell from the kitchen in the entrence and staircase. Fortunatelly the room was far enough.
