The cuisine was excellent - all homemade and great value for money and important to me... free wifi and a great spa bath! And as the venue has been recently refurbished, everything was super clean and smart and in really good condition. The bed was extremely comfortable just what you need for a relaxing stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the dvd's and music available to us to enjoy our stay even more. - Very quiet. Private.   Ken & Margaret are friendly and excellent host. They had the room ready when we arrived at 11am since I informed them that I needed to drop off our luggage before we head to the theme park down the mountain.... Ken was helpful to share the things to do while up in the mountains... It was sumptuous. Location was - Ken and Margaret, the owners, were wonderful and entered in to the spirit of why we were there (to get married in Mount Tambourine). The food was excellent and the presentation beautiful. We felt very safe and comfortable at Amber Lodge. It was very central for what we wanted to do and Ken and Margaret very knowledgeable about what was around and what to do.
