My room is 306, the room is clean, tidy and pretty quiet too. I like it very much!
The reception ladies are friendly and helpful. But only one person to serve in the evening time seems under pressure. The location of YHA also very convenience to reach the market and airport too! -

I loved my stay at the northern greenhouse. I was warmly greeted in reception when i arrived. I stayed in a clean, spacious 6 bed dorm with a kitchenette, fridge and ensuite. Lockers in the rooms with sockets and a shelf to charge devices. Breakfast and WIFI included in the price. Great location, clean, nice relaxed hostel, lots of couches in the communal area, spacious dorm rooms. Very helpful staff. Best hostel I've been in so far!

Great location away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist strip of Cairns, but within walking distance to the esplanade, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at Dreamtime Travellers rest, the guys at the reception were really helpful and they gave us a nice twin room close to the swimming pool, which was super clean and very homy. Considering Cairns's standards, this hostel raises up quite a bit! Friendly but still quiet, and just a 10 minutes stroll to downtown. Great! -
I stayed here for one week, the staff are really helpful and friendly, when I arrival cairns, they pick me up from bus station immediately. the kitchen is amazing, you can get any stuff you want. the room is very clean and tidy, the bed and pillow is very soft. I stay here like staying at home. it's the best backpacker I have been to.

clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was
really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently

well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was
very good. -
The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there,
my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of
charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was
still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better
room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this
excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!

Great place. If you're looking for somewhere to party & have a laugh then this is the place.
Stayed in a four bed room with an ensuite shower & toilet which were cleaned everyday.
Staff were friendly & helpful along with the tour desk.

Stayed from 19.2.13 - 26.2.13 in room 417 and had an awesome stay. I went with 3 people from work in Brisbane as a get away. We hardly ended up leaving at all because everything was there. I'll be booking again soon. Very hard to fault! Thanks to all the Gilligan's team.

Nice place to chill & hangout. Got hammocks neatly placed in the shade & a swimming pool in the sun. Free wifi in the common room & guests rooms.

The hostel lays in the middle of the rainforest, this provides an amazing atmosphere. Due to numerous bus rides during the day to the city this remoteness is not a problem at all. Furthermore, the crew is really friendly and awesome!
