It was a lovely few days, the bed was very comfy, and the facilities were great. Brekfast was lovely and Barry and Di are great hosts and very helpful. Would recommend staying here to anyone. Lovely -

Location to the town (Airlie Beach) was excellant and within an easy walk..10 min walk. Rooms were very big, had everything you need as the rooms are self contained. If you didn't want to cook, there are some very nice restaurants down stairs, coffee lounge and a bottle shop. It is not noisy and the setting is fantastic. -

Stayed in an apartment with my girlfriend on toddler from 31st of July
to 3rd of August 2013. Staff were extremely helpful upon arrival,
provided me with maps and advised all the local shops and bus routes. It

Wow! Liked everything - we were very impressed. The room was beautifully furnished with modern appliances,cutlery and cookware and plenty of storage space - and I loved that it contained a coffee plunger!! The beds were super comphy ... nice heavy curtains to block out morning light ... and it was in a very quiet area. The pool was a fabulous temperature (warm for winter!) and the spa, even warmer. Everything is perfectly clean. There is even no cobwebs on the carport, what is very unusual for Townsville. Perfect attention to detail regarding cleaning.

The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble from booking my
skydive for me to charging my phone when my charger broke. Tabitha and
Steve were such lovely people, I wish I had more time there. The
apartment was immaculate and really comfortable and there was a lovely
pool. It was also in a nice, quiet location very close to the Strand.

Great view from a well designed, very clean, 2 bedroom unit. Wake up to the morning sun and sea view across to Dunk Island. Pool and BBQ excellent with tools and cleaning materials laid out. The cleanliness was impeccable with laundered shower curtains on arrival reflecting the highest standard of cleanliness throughout. -

The lady there went out off her way to move myself and my children to another room so it would be quieter on her on accord which I thought was lovely of her. And was very pleasant n friendly to speak to. :) -

This was by far one of the best motel stays I have experienced anywhere in the world.
The owners efforts to provide little unexpected extras make this a fantastic motel, close to all amenities and definitely achieves it's (home away from home) motto. Will definitely be back. -
