The apartment was well appointed, clean and provided all that you could want in a self contained apartment. Great place to relax but with a lot of holiday entertainment close by. Staff were great at contacting us to advise what we needed to do for a late check-in and provided easy to follow instructions. Had a great stay.

Super location on Hastings St, everything is so accessible. Staff are friendly but not overbearing. We have stayed in most of the options on Hastings St at this stage and it is definitely one of the best. Clean, spacious and well fitted with extras like dvds for kids, milk etc

Nice room with a lovely veranda in the woods. The staff is very motivated and nice. The Restaurant was good and quiet on one night, but slow and loud (2 groups) the other. We were compensated for the late Arrival of the meal on the second night - were offered free drinks and free Dessert (which we didn't take) and lots of apologies.

We were on the 14th floor as I had requested a great view and was stunned by how good it was. We could see right out over the ocean and to the left a view of the boating channel. We stayed at the Jack & Newell for three nights in a 3 bed apartment in Nov 2013. The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

It was a brief stay but what we saw of the complex was that it is clean and tidy. The pool temp was a little cold so could have done with a little heating and we only had one towel between the both of us. We didn't complain because only stayed over night and found out it was missing when getting ready for bed. Everything else was great.
