The view, the large bathroom (although the tiling could have been better in the shower of no. 18), comfy beds, space, tv, table with chairs with room to move around them, plenty of space to hang bath towels. I arrived late (reception was closed) but staff left directions to gain entry to my room. We completed the paperwork in the morning. Comfortable room very handy to main shopping centre. I would stay again.

Motel was in a great location on the highway. 30 mins from newcastle airport. It does the trick in terms of being a convenient place to stop for the night. The walls were soundproof or my neighbours just didn't make noise. Either way I liked that I couldn't hear any tv noise coming through the wall. The room was very clean and tidy. It also included a small bedside heater which was very handy. easy to find and right distance from canberra. Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants, shopping and athletics carnival. HD a clean swimming pool the manager was very helpful. Handy location. No exhaust fan in the bathroom although you could open the windows, not dual flush on toilet (uses more water than necessary), hot water tap in vanity wouldn't turn on (although we didn't need it), powerpoint behind couch didn't work and a powerpoint in the middle of the wall next to the table would have been better placed for computers, chargers, etc to leave items on the table to be charged. shower and bathroom facilities could do with a bit of a upgrade. All good. Excellent value for money. Car park needs updateing and resurfacing. Traffic noise, but realise not a changeable matter. The shower took a good 10 mins to warm up. The beds aren't the most comfortable but perfectly fine for a short stay. I think including even a cheap dvd player would certainly have improved my experience. very shabby - new kettle would be good. Very noisy fridge keeping us awake all night; sheets so worn you could no longer see the print; many tiles missing in shower, couldn't open windows as nailed shut; and bedside light didn't work. Staff not available after we checked in. Having to bend down under bench top to plug-in jug. Cramped space for table and chairs. smells like cigaretts as their is ashtrays full everywhere outside your doors. old rundown room 60 dollars overpriced. trashed rooms should be renovated. air con filters have not been touched in months. poor security for rooms no dead locks on doors or windows not secure.
