We are a young couple who wanted to go away to celebrate another year together, but on a budget! It is beside the backpackers which is loud, but we could not hear any noise when inside our unit only when we went to the car to go out for dinner. The room was at the same standard as other local options, but cheaper! We were more then pleased with the whole experience when we stayed at Central Motel. Would recommend it to you!.
todos opiniões » Very quiet, great staff and close to the marina and beach. The kitchen is small, but very clean and had everything you would need. If not, staff was always available. The Greyhound Bus and Local Bus stop is right out front. Tammy was an excellent host and very friendly and helpful. The Kitchen area was a lovely suprise. I was a little worried about the noise from the backpackers next door but found that it didnt bother us at all. The Hilton it isn't, but for value for money it is great, clean, close to everything, anyone who doesn't like this place is too hard to please, have stayed there before that's why I went back. Although very small, it was exceptonally clean, the bed and sheets lovely and soft, good modern fittings, quiet location, helpful , friendly staff. Room was in near new condition. The staff where great the room was very clean comfy bed and I was surprised how quite it was. I will be telling people to stay there if holidaying on the Sunshine coast. The staff were wonderful and as we were two mature friends travelling without our husbands they upgraded us so we had a bedroom each and were away from any noise. Close to all venues that we attended. Also, the double glazed windows made the stay enjoyable as we could not hear the backpackers party when we closed the door!. Very clean and tidy little room with all the facilities we needed for an overnight stay. Very budget friendly. We look forward to staying there again. Friendly staff & spotless clean. Loved the fact that there was a pool and shared kitchen. Would come back again. on arrival we were given an upgrade, we found the room very cllean and a nice stroll to shops beach and dinning. Staff very helpful, We messed up our booking, most helpful in fitting us in upgraded to suite at no extra cost. Friendly staff who were willing to put in extra bed at no extra cost as motel was fully booked. Friendly, efficient and very helpful when asked for help with directions to other locations. Location very central to town. All was good. No dislikes at all. It was very small, but I guess this is for the budget minded. The narrow driveway but not a big issue in my small car. The aircon dripped water onto our heads when in bed, so we turned it off. A little bit noisy at times being next door to the backpackers but definitely nothing dreadful!. The shower was a bit like getting attacked by needles. nothing. Older motel in need of maintenance and more attention to cleaning. Only 3 good channels on the tv other than news channels. For security the window could not be opened but air conditioner was effective. nothing. Rowdiness of 4 youngsters in adjoining unit one night all night kept us awake. Nothing worth mentioning, it was all good... I don't like front gate gets locked at 8 needs a pedestrian gate at front. The bathroom could have been cleaner. It was fine. Nothing to not like. Can not think of anything in particular. Need net on window or something so we could open curtains and window instead of using air con. Maybe some cutlery in rooms would be great. nothing. The unit above was very noisy. As I and my mum were there for 4 nights . It would have been great if tea and coffee would have been supplied for those days and milk. The sheets on the single bed I slept in were stained and looked like had not been changed. There should also be a microwave in the room. And the freeze was not working. The gate locked at night. Bathroom area very small as well as noise from backpackers loud. Also upon check in found it confusing to distinguish where check in was as I had checked via Mooloolaba Central as opposed to name of hotel on back street!! Also had trouble using TV as usb connection would not allow me to play my movies!!. Shared kitchen was unclean. Poor supply of tea & coffee supplies in the room. No toiletries supplied. Poor entry and exit to parking. Room had a damp smell. Bed covers were dirty, so were the curtains. The walls were thin and could hear the guests in the adjourned rooms. The backpackers from the motel next door were noisy. To pay $7 per hour is a rip off. Definitely poor value..paying $79 is poor value for money...could have gotten a better place. Ewifi.
