The historic town of Milton, known for its specialty gift shops, art galleries and fashion boutiques, is only a short 5-minute drive away. Mollymook Golf Course is just 200 metres away.

It was a great location with the beautiful beach just 2 minutes around the corner. Also there was beach-side restaurant/shop where you could order a great breakfast and enjoy the view. The motel was VERY clean. The shower/bathroom was pristine. The room had a nice big bed, large flat-screen tv and free wi-fi access. I relaxed there immediately. The location was excellent as we attended a beach wedding on the Saturday. The room was very comfortable and spacious and had all the necessary items to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Had an apartment on the top floor. Good views. Small group of units - not too many people about. The apartment we stayed was clean and tidy and quiet. Very helpful staff in Reception. Checkout was at 1000. Could have done with it being at 1100. Also the kitchenette only had a microwave oven. Could have done with a two-ringed stove as well. A few extra powerpoints would have been good, as I had to go into the kitchenette to charge my phone. Apart from those minor issues, it was great, especially after a 6 hour drive from Newcastle. I didn't like the fact that there were images of stove tops (2 hot plates) looking like the typical kitchenette and when we came it was just a microwave and tea making facilities. I also dislike how the term "fully equipped kitchenette" was used to describe room type when it wasn't. It would be nice if we had access to a knife or scissor, I had to go out and buy one myself. It would have also been nice if the motel had their own pool or BBQ area. Traffic noise. Only microwave to cook with and limited cooking utensils. No DVD as stated on blurb. No staff to see at check out so left key on desk in office. Shower pressure very weak and adjusting comfortable temperature very tricky. Turning off cold very hazardous as hot is very hot. Would like a security lock/chain on font door. Fan in room 5 rattled. Receptionist could have been a little more friendly. No greeting; now how are you; just I need you to fill this in here and give me your credit card. Next time I will try and stay somewhere else. We booked the Queen Suite with Spa bath, We found the bathroom facilities were not enclosed and were part of the living space. Had we been staying longer we would have asked to be moved. I would not recommend booking this room because of lack of privacy. Sofas uncomfortable Outdoor seatin area consists of two plastic chairs, one small plastic table and one overturned ash tray Staff seemed bored and dis interested. No frills. Very, very thin loo paper. Wi-Fi would not connect in our room.Decor very 1960.needs updating. Bathroom facilities need a good clean. Window fly wire full of grime / fluff, hairdryer had to have fluff cleaned out to work, fan cover absolutely full of fluff & shower glass needed good scrub. Strip heater & blower fan NOT good heating & no a/cond. for summer.
