Loved the location. Across the road was a supermarket, atm, bottle shop, bakery and numerous restaurants. A short drive to all attractions and could walk to Lake Burley Griffin and go for a jog. Had a one bedroom apartment very spacious. Free underground parking, free wi fi. The woman who did our check in was excellent!!! She made a big effort to get us into the room early as we were going to a cricket match and would not be back to the room until late at night. This staff member was very impressive and we were going to send our compliments.
todos opiniões » Staff at The York Canberra were excellent. Went out of their way to help. Location is great as was my 1 bedroom apartment. There are many places to eat right across the road. Bus stop is also just across the road. Location was fabulous- across the road from great cafes & restaurants & close to lake for cycling. Facilities great- bed very comfortable, living area & kitchenette good. The York Apartments are convenient and well-located in Kingston. The management is friendly and very accommodating and the apartments are clean and nicely furnished. Location Fairly priced Nice apartment, good facility. Excellent car parking area. Close to a host of good restaurants. Walking distance to Govt House. great price ... good location comfy beds ... functional layout for business or leisure restaurants & shops across the road! will dec stay again. My room looked on the road & it was a bit noisy. Nothing. 3rd Level , No Lift, not really an issue for us but would be if you were fitness deficient. Gym was not advertised. Toilet paper too soft :(. There was nothing we didn't like. Nothing. had trouble with free wifi. Rather dark room and inadequate lighting. unable to connect my iPad to the wireless internet (tho my partner with same model iPad managed to). zero. Reception not open until 9:00 am on weekends. The internet did not work all the time. Nothing. Lighting is poor at night Microwave not working. Lack of lighting...too dark to see in the kitchen. Not enough comfortable seating for two. would like more light in the bathroom, especially over the sink. WiFi didn't work. Booked one bedroom suite and was provided a room only. Didn't receive the warmest welcome on arrival and was told that I couldn't check out an hour later (to enable me to have a shower after the Marathon). Although I noticed the room wasn't actually cleaned until midday after I left. Over charged on checkout and had to phone to get this fixed (although they responded well). Sofa was a little uncomfortable and tv was tiny for the room. The TV reception was poor as the aerial connection was broken. Also we couldn't get Wi-Fi connection and no staff member was on duty to assist us. Underground parking is difficult for a large vehicle. Check-out is too early. Complimentaries were very limited. The most uncomfortable beds I have experienced in a long time, stifling rooms. The noise from the hot water systems especially when hotel guests were having showers at 5.30am. No elevator. uncomfortable lumpy bed stained blanket on the bed. Unreliable internet, room very dark. Exiting car park was tricky, had to get out of the car to push a button then rush back into the car before the gate closed. does not look like advert/needs renovating/bit tired, old fashioned for price. Fans had no nob to turn fan on/off, making the rooms stuffy Security poor. TV in bedroom poor, only stations available was sport Staff/visitors smoking in courtyard, unable to open windows due to smoke wafting in.
